| The Lion's Tale | 5th - 8th |
| The School newspaper, The Lion's Tale, captures "life" at St. Mark’s. Students are responsible for covering the “news” through interviewing, writing stories, and taking photographs. Seven issues are published each school year. |

| Art Club | 1st - 5th |
| Art classes allow students to work with a variety of media including three-dimensional paper projects, painting techniques and paper collage. Students are encouraged to create lively designs and to mix media. |

| Chorus & Chimes | 3rd - 5th |
| The Chime Ensemble and Chorus are weekly, after-school, year-long programs. Chime members perform at Eucharist several times during the school year and also perform in two concerts. Chorus members sing once a month at the Friday Eucharist and perform at least two or three times a year at community events and in concerts. |

| Safety Patrol | 4th - 5th |
| St. Mark’s Safety Patrols assist students with getting in and out of cars at school arrival and dismissal. Being a Safety Patrol is an honorable position and requires that students meet grade and conduct requirements to participate. |

| Book Club | 3rd - 5th |
| Participating students read the same story from an anthology. Weekly meetings are held to discuss the current reading selection. |

| Computer Club | 1st - 5th |
| Students participating in the Computer Club will learn additional computer skills beyond the computer class curriculum. |

| Chess Club | 3rd - 5th |
| Meetings are held on a weekly basis after school. Members will work to improve skills associated with the game of chess, have fun and possibly compete in local elementary school tournaments. |

| Middle School |
| National Junior Honor Society | 7th - 8th |
| NJHS creates enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulates a desire to render service, promotes leadership, and develops character in students. The St. Mark's chapter holds regulary scheduled meetings and participates in one or more service projects each year. |

| Yearbook | 6th - 8th |
| St. Mark’s school life is reflected through the annual yearbook, Paw Prints. Students may participate in capturing the important moments and assist with the production of the treasured yearbook. |

| TV Production Team | 6th - 8th |
| The TV Production team is responsible for St. Mark’s broadcasts, like the “morning announcements.” Middle School students on the team earn community service hours for their participation. Students in grades 5-7, who are interested in participating on the team for the next school year, may submit an application in April. |

| Acolyte | 6th - 8th |
| Students in grades 6-8 may volunteer to be an acolyte and serve during the Friday school Eucharist as server, crucifer, taper or flag bearer. The student does not have to be Episcopalian to serve in this capacity. |

| Youth Group | 6th - 8th |
| St. Mark's Episcopal Church sponsors a middle school youth group for students of all denominations in grades 6-8 that meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. The group participates in Bible study, outreach and service projects. Interested students may participate in a summer mission trip. |
