Cornerstone Scholarship at St. Mark's
The Cornerstone Scholarship was founded in an effort to transform the lives of children in underserved neighborhoods within our local communities. By removing the financial constraints associated with attending an independent school, this program offers deserving students a chance for life-long success. Funds raised help underwrite the various costs related to a student’s education and life at St. Mark’s. The Financial Aid Program remains separate from the scholarship program and aids families who need tuition assistance. Funding for the scholarship program comes from a variety of sources. Seed donations have come from generous donors within St. Mark’s, and we are actively seeking additional funding from resources outside of our immediate community. One of the most powerful ways to support this program is to make a donation to the Lion Society, St. Mark’s School Endowment Fund. An endowed gift to the Cornerstone Scholarship, which will grow in perpetuity, can transform not only one student’s life with the opportunity of a St. Mark’s education, but many.
